Trains cancelled/diverted/regulated/rescheduled (12th May 2022 to 28th May 2022)

In order to expedite track doubling works between Ettumanur and Chingavanam stations (Ernakulam – Kottayam – Kayamkulam section), the next phase of train traffic regulations will be in force from 12th May 2022 to 28th May 2022. The following trains will be cancelled/diverted/regulated/rescheduled, as detailed below.

1.     Train No. 12623 MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Mail will be fully cancelled from 23rd to 27th May 2022(5 days).

2.     Train No. 12624 Thiruvananthapuram Central – MGR Chennai Central Mail will be fully cancelled from 24th to 28th May 2022(5 days).

3.     Train No. 16526 KSR Bengaluru – Kanniyakumari Island Express will be fully cancelled from 23rd to 27th May 2022(5 days).

4.     Train No. 16525 Kanniyakumari – KSR Bengaluru Island Express will be fully cancelled from 24th to 28th May 2022(5 days).

5.     Train No. 16649 Mangaluru Central – Nagercoil Junction Parasuram Express will be fully cancelled from 20th to 28th May 2022(9 days).

6.     Train No. 16650 Nagercoil Junction – Mangaluru Central Parasuram Express will be fully cancelled from 21st to 29th May 2022(9 days).

7.     Train No. 12081 Kannur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Janshatabdi Express will be fully cancelled on 21st, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th, and 28th May 2022(6 days).

8.     Train No. 12082 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kannur Janshatabdi Express will be fully cancelled on 22nd, 23rd, 25th, 26th, and 27th May 2022(5 days).

9.     Train No. 16302 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Shoranur Junction Venad Express will be fully cancelled on 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th May 2022(5 days).

10. Train No. 16301 Shoranur Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Venad Express will be fully cancelled on 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th May 2022(5 days).

11. Train No. 16327 Punalur – Guruvayur Daily Express will be fully from 21st to 28th May 2022(8 days).

12. Train No. 16328 Guruvayur – Punalur Daily Express will be fully cancelled from 21st to 28th May 2022(8 days).

13. Train No. 06449 Ernakulam Junction – Alappuzha Unreserved Express Special will be fully cancelled from 21st to 28th May 2022(8 days).

14. Train No. 06452 Alappuzha – Ernakulam Junction Unreserved Express Special will be fully cancelled from 21st to 28th May 2022(8 days).

15. Train No. 06444 Kollam Junction – Ernakulam Junction MEMU Express Special will be fully cancelled from 22nd to 28th May 2022(7 days).

16. Train No. 06443 Ernakulam Junction – Kollam Junction MEMU Express Special will be fully cancelled from 22nd to 28th May 2022(7 days).

17. Train No. 06451 Ernakulam Junction – Kayamkulam Junction Unreserved Express Special will be fully cancelled from 25th to 28th May 2022(4 days).

18. Train No. 06450 Kayamkulam Junction – Ernakulam Junction Unreserved Express Special will be fully cancelled from 25th to 28th May 2022(4 days).

19. Train No. 16791 Tirunelveli Junction – Palakkad Junction Palaruvi Express will be fully cancelled on 27th May, 2022.

20. Train No. 16792 Palakkad Junction – Tirunelveli Junction Palaruvi Express will be fully cancelled on 28th May, 2022.

21. Train No. 06431 Kottayam – Kollam Junction Unreserved Daily Express Special will be fully cancelled on all days till 29th May, 2022.

1.     Train No. 17230 Secunderabad Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Sabari Daily Express leaving Secunderabad Jn. from 23rd to 27th May 2022 will be short terminated at Thrissur. The train will be partially cancelled between Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram Central.

2.     Train No. 17229 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Secunderabad Junction Sabari Daily Express will commence service from Thrissur instead of Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl.  on 24th to 28th May 2022. The train will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Thrissur.

1.     Train No. 22647 Korba – Kochuveli Biweekly Express leaving Korba on 11th, 14th 18th, 21st and 25th May 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Thrippunithura, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad.

2.     Train No. 17230 Secunderabad Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Sabari Daily Express leaving Secunderabad Jn. from 11th to 20th May 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad.

3.     Train No. 16649 Mangalore Central – Nagercoil Junction Parasuram Express leaving Mangalore Ctrl. from 12th to 19th May 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Trippunithura, Piravam Road, Ettumanur, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad.

4.     Train No. 12625 Thiruvananthapuram Central – New Delhi Kerala Daily Superfast leaving Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl. on 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelilkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam and Vaikkom Road. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

5.     Train No. 17229 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Secunderabad Junction Sabari Daily Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl. on 21st and 22nd May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelilkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

6.     Train No. 16382 Kanniyakumari – Pune Junction Daily Express leaving Kanniyakumari on 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelilkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

7.     Train No. 22678 Kochuveli – Yeswanthpur Weekly AC Superfast leaving Kochuveli on 27th May, 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.

8.     Train No. 12202 Kochuveli – Lokmanyatilak Terminus Biweekly Garib Rath Express leaving Kochuveli on 12th, 19th, 22nd and 26th, May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.

9.     Train No. 12778 Kochuveli – SSS Hubballi Weekly Superfast leaving Kochuveli on 12th, 19th and 26th May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.

10. Train No. 18567 Visakhapatnam Junction – Kollam Junction Weekly Express leaving Visakhapatnam Jn. on 12th and 26th May, 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional stoppage is permitted at Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad.

11. Train No. 12623 MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Mail leaving MGR Chennai Central on 20th, 21st and 22nd May 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha. The train will skip its scheduled stops at Thripunithura, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad.

12. Train No. 16525 Kanniyakumari – KSR Bengaluru Island Daily Express leaving Kanniyakumari on 21st May, 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelilkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Piravaom Road and Trippunithura. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

13. Train No. 16312 Kochuveli – Shri Ganganagar Weekly Express leaving Kochuveli on 21st and 28th May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla, and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

14. Train No. 16526 KSR Bengaluru – Kanniyakumari Island Daily Express leaving KSR Bengaluru on 20th and 21st May 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Thrippunithura, Piravam Road, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad.

15. Train No. 12624 Thiruvananthapuram Central – MGR Chennai Central Mail leaving Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl. on 22nd and 23rd May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelilkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam and Trippunithura. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, and Ernakulam Jn.

16. Train No. 12659 Nagercoil Junction – Shalimar Gurudev Weekly Express leaving Nagercoil Jn. on 22nd May, 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Alappuzha, and Ernakulam Jn.

17. Train No. 22648 Kochuveli – Korba Biweekly Superfast leaving Kochuveli on 23rd and 26th May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Kottayam and Thrippunithura. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

18. Train No. 12257 Yeswantpur Junction – Kochvueli Garib Rath Triweekly Express leaving Yeswantpur Jn. on 22nd, 24th and 26th May 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Train No. 16334 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Veraval Junction Weekly Express leaving Thiruvananathapuram Central on 23rd May, 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelilkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. Train No. 15906 Dibrugarh – Kanniyakumari Vivek Weekly Superfast leaving Dibrugarh on 21st May, 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Thiruvalla and Chengannur. Additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Alappuzha and Haripad.

21. Train No. 12201 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Kochuveli Biweekly Garib Rath Express leaving Lokmanya Tilak Term. on 23rd and 27th May 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Thiruvalla and Chengannur. 22. Train No. 12626 New Delhi – Thiruvananthapuram Central Kerala Superfast leaving New Delhi from 22nd to 26th May 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at  Vaikkom Road, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad.

23. Train No. 16336 Nagercoil Junction – Gandhidham Junction Weekly Express leaving Nagercoil Jn. on 24th May 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at  Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. 24. Train No. 22113 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Kochuveli Biweekly Express leaving Lokmanya Tilak Term. on 24th May, 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Thiruvalla and Chengannur. 25. Train No. 12258 Kochuveli – Yeshwantpur Garib Rath Triweekly Express leaving Kochuveli on 25th May, 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanasser, Kottayam and Vaikkom Road. Train No. 16311 Shri Ganganagar – Kochuveli Weekly Express leaving Shri Ganganagar on 24th May, 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Thiruvalla and Chengannur. Train No. 16318 Shri Matavaishnodevi Katra – Kanniyakumari Himasagar Weekly Express leaving S.V.D Katra on 23th May, 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Train No. 19259 Kochuveli – Bhavnagar Terminus Weekly Express leaving Kochuveli on 26th May, 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.

29. Train No. 22114 Kochuveli – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Weekly Express leaving Kochuveli on 26th May, 2022 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. Additional stoppage will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.

30. Train No. 12660 Shalimar – Nagercoil Junction Gurudev Weekly Superfast leaving Shalimar on 25th May, 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, and Chengannur. Additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Alappuzha, and Haripad.

 1.   Train No. 16792 Palakkad Junction – Tirunelveli Junction Palaruvi Express scheduled to leave Palakkad Jn. at 16.05 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 17.20 hrs.(ie. 1 hour 15 minutes late) on 23rd, 24th, 25th and 27th  May 2022. The train will be rescheduled to leave at 17.35 hrs.(ie. 1 hour 30 minutes late) on 26th, May, 2022.

3.     Train No. 15906 Dibrugarh – Kanniyakumari Vivek Weekly Superfast will be regulated for 45 minutes in Ernakulam Town – Kottayam section on 17th May 2022

4.  Train No. 16382 Kanniyakumari – Pune Junction Express will be regulated for 30 minutes in Kayamkulam Jn. – Chingavanam section on 22nd May,
